Festival of New American Music

Yu-Hui is to be a featured guest composer in this year’s Festival of New American Music at the California State University, Sacramento.  Her percussion solo piece "Binge Delirium" will be performed by Chris Froh in the opening night Gala Performance on November 4 at 8 p.m. as well as Chris’ recital on November 6 at 3 p.m.  In conjunction with the Gala Performance, Yu-Hui will participate in a live radio broadcast on Capital Public Radio.  Her other activities during the festival include a talk in the Composer’s Forum on November 5 at 11 a.m. at the Sac State Department of Music.  Go to the following link for more information about the festival: <http://www.csus.edu/music/fenam/>.

Radcliffe residency

This week Yu-Hui began her one-year residency at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University as a Bunting Fellow.  Her studio is located in the Byerly Hall, which is right next to the Harvard Square.  She is excited about meeting many first-rate scholars from different fields.
