Starting from March 2010, Yu-Hui will serve as a Co-Artistic Director of Dinosaur Annex Music Ensemble, along with flutist Sue-Ellen Hershman-Tcherepnin. Now in its 35th season, Dinosaur Annex is a Bonston-based new music ensemble, which has given hundreds of performances and premieres. Yu-Hui is among the five recipients of the 2009 General Commission awards given by the Barlow Endowment for Music Composition. With this commission, she will be writing a piece, co-commissioned by the Triple Helix Piano Trio, for piano trio and women’s choir.

Yu-Hui is recently awarded a Fellowship from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. With this Fellowship, she will be on leave from Brandeis during the academic year 2009-2010.

Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University has offered Yu-Hui an appointment as a Fellow. During the academic year 2010-2011, she will be joining scholars from other professional and artistic fields for her residency at the institute.

The Copland House has selected Yu-Hui as one of the recipient for the 2008 Aaron Copland Award.
